Welcome to Physiatry & Rehabilitation Medicine, PC
Physiatrists (physicians specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, PM&R)
evaluate and treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spine, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. By taking the whole body into account, we are able to accurately pinpoint problems and enhance performance without surgery. |
Electrodiagnostic Testing
EMGs and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS) are used to help diagnose and determine the severity of peripheral nerve and muscle conditions such as: carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, foot drop, tarsal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy (pinched nerve from the neck or back), peripheral neuropathy, nerve trauma, inflammatory muscle diseases and ALS. Consider EMG and NCS for spine and/or limb pain, numbness, tingling, and/or weakness without clear etiology, or if the condition is not improving with conservative measures. Appointments can be made at 607-277-4097 with an order from a healthcare provider. Below are forms to print, complete and bring to your appointment.
